Annual Lego Building Contest: Lets have a Lego contest! It’ll be good for Kaleidoscope Toys, good for the kids and good for mom and dad who could really use a project for the kids right about now. Even better is it’s a project that truly forbids parents from participating. We will taking entries on Saturday, January 7th thru February 4th. Voting will continue through Feb 10th. We will announce the winners on February 11th.
Parade of Champions: The Lake Travis Independent School District, the City of Bee Cave and the Hill Country Galleria will kick off the New Year in grand style as together they recognize the largest number of students ever during the Lake Travis Parade of Champions on Saturday, January 7th. The festivities will begin with live music by the Loose Wheels in the amphitheater at 2:00pm. The parade will begin at 5:00 p.m. near Dillard’s and conclude at the opposite end of the Galleria near Zinger’s. A fireworks display will follow the awards ceremony. All visitors are asked to please park in the garages as Main Street will be closed during the festivities.
