If you just started couponing it would help a lot to know how many newspapers to buy (you don’t have to buy newspapers if you don’t want to but it helps a lot!)

The rule of thumb is 1 newspaper per family member so we have 4 family members , so I buy 4. Some people buy an extra newspapers, but I have issues with this since I am not a fan of odd numbers!

Also, if you are barely starting and all this is really new to you, I recommend buying only 2. If there’s a BOGO sale you can still get 1 deal. Once you get the hang of it you can buy as many as you want.

Make sure you look for small town newspapers (which are usually cheap)  and Free Spanish newspapers. For example sometimes the newspapers in the Austin, TX area have P&G inserts and Sometimes even red plum and Smart Source
