Kids Skate FREE at Participating Rinks

Do your kids love to roller skate? There is a great program with KidsSkateFree.com, where your kids can skate once a week at participating roller rinks for FREE!. Here’s how to find your local rink.

1. Head to KidsSkateFree.com

2.Click on your state to see if there are any participating rinks near you.

3. Make sure to register your family, and add up to four children per family (under the age of 12)

4. Each Sunday print your certificate and have fun skating!

If you don’t see a participating rink, there is a form you can print to take to them to get them to participate. Skate rentals? You have to call each individual rink to see if they include skate rental in the free skating event. Each rink sets what days/hours they accept the free passes as well.

BookPeople: Saturday 8/11@11:30AM. We do live in the city, but in Texas the countryside is never too far away!  One of the best things to do in Austin is to watch the bats fly out from underneath the Congress Bridge at dusk.  Today’s storytime is all about our favorite little, squeaky mascot – the BAT!  We’ll read Bats at the Ballgame and we’ll do some batty crafts too!
