Bellybar Review & Giveaway!!!

I tend to be a horrible eater, I love sweets and I am always missing breakfast. This pregnancy was extra difficult because I got such horrible morning/afternoon/night sickness  :-? So it was even worse, I rarely want to eat and when I actually crave something is usually not good. I found myself with pretty bad anemia and after a ton of different prenatal vitamins I just couldn’t keep any down. So when I got the chance to review Bellybar’s Nutrition bars and prenatal vitamins I was really excited and hopeful they will help me.

I received one bar in each flavor: Lemony Lovey, Baby Needs Chocolate, Berry Nutty Cravings and S’more to Love. I also received their DHA chews, prenatal chewable vitamins and their prenatal + DHA Chocolate vitamins. Let me start by saying that I am super picky with the protein and energy bars out there and I usually hate them. Bellybars were the exception is like they know pregnant women are extra picky and they truly taste awesome!  My favorite were Lemony Lovey and Baby Needs Chocolate. They don’t have a funky after taste and I loved the size, I was very satisfied after I had just one.

The Prenatal chewable vitamins and DHA chews have a very interesting flavor almost like Flintstones vitamins, both are very orangy and the prenatal almost felt effervescent. The DHA was a little more pleasant, almost like a piece of chewable candy. I most confess they were not my favorite but much better than the ones my Dr. prescribed.

The Prenatal + DHA Chocolate vitamins were delicious!!! And I am not exaggerating. The chocolate flavor was really good, and the DHA ones also have a little raspberry flavor that just make them delightful! I almost want to have the entire bottle! I am so glad I found some good tasting vitamins and bars that make me feel like my baby is not being deprived of any nutrients and vitamins.

You can find BellyBar on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Bellybar Prenatal + DHA Chocolate Vitamins make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Rockin’ Baby Pouch Review & Giveaway!!!

Since I started showing, every single time I go ANYWHERE with my kids and my big belly people stop me to tell me how hard it is to go from two to three kids. I swear it is a conspiracy man!!! LOL So it got me thinking that I really need some tools and gadgets to help me until I get used to it. And as I was researching options I got the chance to review a pouch from Rockin’ Baby, and I was super excited!

Rockin’ Baby not only makes gorgeous baby pouches and slings but they also believe in giving back and helping moms in need. With their Mother to Mother mission they donate a brand new baby sling to moms in Haiti, each sling is bright orange with red rings so that next time you watch something on the news or see a picture on a newspaper or magazine you recognize it and know your purchase help a mother in need. Here’s a video where you can see a little more about their mission. I don’t know if it is the hormones, but I was in tears at the end.

I received a Rockin’ Baby Pouch in the “I’ll stop the world and melt with you” pattern, which is no longer available but they have other gorgeous ones too. I am new to the whole sling and pouch deal so I needed to make sure I checked everything. I got the S/M size and it comes with adjustable zippers to assure the best fit and a little flap with Velcro to cover the zippers. It also comes with some padding at the bottom for what I think is comfort when the baby is bigger and his/her legs are hanging out.

Comparing it with the other pouch I got I seems to be bigger and more comfortable. I also love the pattern of the fabric and the material. But obviously the real test will be when baby Gael is here. Rockin’ Baby Slings and Pouches retail for $79.99 and can be purchased from either their site HERE or Amazon.

You can find Rockin’ Baby on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Rockin’ Baby HERO Sling make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Minky Couture Review & Giveaway!!!

As most of you know I am pregnant with our third child, and he’ll be born in November so it’s going to be kinda cold. My kids are always bundled up the first couple months of their life and baby Gael will be no exception since he’s coming at the beginning of winter. So I was beyond thrilled when I got a chance to review a Minky Couture Blanket!

I heard about Minky Couture before but had never touched or seen a blanket in person, so I was beyond words when I received it. It is softer than any other blanket I had ever touched. It is also bigger than the other blankets we have waiting for baby Gael. The sewing is very well done and the minky and satin ruffle combination are truly gorgeous. We received the Tyler: Green and Brown Dots with Brown Swirl and Brown Ruffle and I can’t wait for our son to come to bundle him up with it!

Minky Couture Blankets can be purchased from their website here and start at $65 and worth every penny! They also offer decorative blankets for your home, adult and tween sizes.

You can find Minky Couture on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Minky Couture Baby Blanket make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Fashion Forward Maternity Review & Giveaway!!!

I had a really hard time choosing the items I wanted, I knew I needed something cute for my baby shower but I also wanted something cute and not too dressy to wear on the weekends. I also wanted to make sure it was comfortable, and something I could use more than once without looking like a picture! I chose 2 Olian dresses, the Chloe dress and the Cap sleeve dress in the orchid color. I also got the Lola Floral Blouse by Olian.

Both dresses are gorgeous and fit perfectly. The Cap sleeve dress is a little too long for me but I am very short so it happens often and I’m used to it. The Lola Floral Blouse is very see through and you really have to wear it with a cami underneath. Overall I loved all the clothing and I am very impressed by the quality and how well maintain the clothing is.

Shipping was super fast and I had all items by Friday the same week, I was very pleased. They come wrapped in tissue and you wouldn’t be able to tell they are rentals, everything loved brand new.  The shipping is also Free both ways, so unless you need to exchange something there’s no extra charge.

They have a great selection of maternity clothes and almost everything is the same price $23.50, which is pretty affordable considering most maternity dresses are no less than $100! They also have great customer service and they send everything to get professionally cleaned so unless you stained something you should treat it just like your regular clothes.

You can find Fashion Forward on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win a free rental from Fashion Forward Maternity make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Ella’s Kitchen Review & Giveaway!!!

You would be amazed by the amount of ingredients and crazy stuff they put on baby food now. If you take some time to read the list of ingredients it’s truly scary what some companies are trying to feed our children! I have the opportunity to review some Ella’s Kitchen Baby food and enough though my daughter is not a baby anymore I regularly feed her baby food when we are out or when she’s being a difficult eater. So I was very excited to try something different.

Ella’s Kitchen makes organic baby food and toddler snacks that you don’t have to worry about. They have 8 ranges at the moment: First Tastes, Ella’s 1 Baby Food, Fruit + Baby RiceBaby Brekkie, Ella’s 2 Baby FoodSmoothie Fruits, Nibbly Fingers, and Yum Yummy Baby Cookies. They’re always thinking of yummy new ranges to add to their family of yummy 100% organic foods!

Each little pouch is super portable which is great for a toddler and they are all BPA, egg, wheat and gluten Free. After opening you can store the rest of the pouch in the fridge since they were good for up to 48 hours, but my daughter didn’t have any left overs :) Her favorite flavors were: pears, bananas and bananas, apricots and baby rice.

They also have a 12 month shelf life so I save some to feed baby Gael when he’s ready to eat, and I will definitely buy him some more when he is ready. Make sure to stay tuned for that!

You can find Ella’s Kitchen on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own 10 pouches of Ella’s Kitchen baby food make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Daddy Scrubs Review & Giveaway!!!

My husband has been in the room when my two other kids were born, so obviously he’ll be there this time. He is super supportive and nice, but he is on allowed to leave the side of my head while I am pushing (I just don’t want him to see anything that might scar him for life! lol) So when I got the chance to review Daddy Scrubs I was so excited to give him something to make this day extra special for him.

I believe daddy needs to be comfortable during labor too, I’ve have really long labors so I always pack stuff to make sure he is entertained and comfy. He chose the blue Daddy Scrubs with the Edgy font. When it arrived I was impressed with the quality and how comfortable and nice they look. One of my favorite things is that they are perfectly fine to sleep in so if my labor happens to be late he can get a little sleep while wearing these.

I can’t wait for my hubby to wear them when this little guy is ready to come out! Make sure to stay tuned for lots of pictures!!! :) Daddy Scrubs retail for $54.95 and come in different colors and different fonts to choose from. They also offer tees, hoodies, hats, and other gifts.

You can find Daddy Scrubs on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Daddy Scrubs in your choice of color and font make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Baby Gourmet Review and Giveaway!!!

Healthy, organic, awesome and nutritious food for babies made by moms tired of not finding good nutritious options at the grocery store. All the products start at the owners kitchens, sisters Jen and Jill. Each recipe and batch thereafter is taste-tested.

Here are some of the products they offer by size:

6 months+:

  • Simply Sweet Potato
  • Sweet Potato, Apple & Chicken
  • Harvest Pear, Pumpkin and Banana
  • Harvest Pear, Pumpkin and Banana
  • Orchard Apple, Carrot and Prune
7 months+:
  • Hearty Vegetables with Turkey
  • Apple, Sweet Potato, Berry Swirl
  • Baby’s Sweet Potato Pie
  • Roasted Squash and Fruit Medley
8 months +:
  • Chicken Minestrone Soup
  • Vegetable Lentil Dahl
  • Vegetable, Beef & Barley
  • Old Fashioned Apple Crisp
  • Tropical Banana Bliss
  • Vanilla Banana Berry Risotto

My daughter is already 29 months and she loved every flavor we received!!! I love to keep some of these on my diaper bag for the days she just doesn’t eat right. I know these little pouches pack a punch of vitamins and nutrients and when we are out and she’s being a picky eater I know she’s still getting something good and healthy to eat.

All products are organic, no salt, sugar, fillers, preservatives, nuts, dairy, except in Old Fashioned Apple Crisp. Which is great because my daughter is lactose intolerant.

  • Organic
  • No thickeners or fillers
  • No added sugar
  • No added salt
  • Kosher
  • BPA-free re-sealable packaging
  • USDA, FDA and organic certification
If you have smaller children, it is really easy to just pour on a plate to feed them. But the best part to me is that my daughter is old enough to walk around and just suck on the pouch, she feels like a big girl and there’s never a mess! I would recommend all of Baby Gourmet’s products to everyone, even those with bigger kids (my son loved the apple crisp)

You can find Baby Gourmet on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own 12 pack of their products make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Pregnancy Tip: What to pack for the hospital

I’ve seen many many lists and hear many many opinions. Let me start by saying that no two moms are the same and what works for me might not work for you. The intention of this lists and all pregnancy and mommy tips is to give you some help and ideas on what might be needed.

This is my third pregnancy and when I packed my first hospital bag for my son’s delivery, it had everything but the kitchen sink!  :-P This is a very common mistake many first time moms make. After you read 300 different lists you end up packing lots of extra unnecessary things. So I am going to share 4 lists with you today: What to pack mommy, what to pack for baby, what to pack for your support person and what NOT to pack.

What to pack for You

  1. Insurance Information, hospital forms, ID: If you are anything like me you are already registered, the hospital already knows you and everyone has your information. But you should take it anyways. Most of us don’t know our insurance numbers by memory and there’s so many other things they might ask. I made sure I double checked this on my new Carry it all wristlet Vera Bradley sent me. I also keep all important papers in a plastic folder.
  2. Toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, facial wipes (I find this to be so much easier than facial soap, and they are amazing right after delivery when you can’t take a shower but feel sweaty and nasty) toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, lip balm, hair ties and head bands, glasses, contact case and solution.
  3. Nonslip socks or slippers: Your feet will be cold and the hospital floor is too, this are great for getting up to go to the bathroom. If you prefer you can also take flip flops.
  4. Pajamas, Nightgown or Robe: If you are allowed to walk around during labor a robe is super handy if you are birthing in the hospital gowns which are not very discreet. Many people say to take old pajamas you don’t mind staining, I’ve delivered twice and I’ve never gotten my pajamas dirty. Plus new nice pjs make you feel better :) If you are planning to breastfeed make sure the one you choose opens on the front. I am packing my new Japanese Weekend Set, which is nursing friendly and sooo comfy!
  5. Hospital Gown: This is a very personal choice, I HATE hospital gowns and both of my labors were long and the gowns they put you on at the hospital are not only completely open on the back so the world can see your behind but are also faded and ugly. I was lucky enough to get a fabulous hospital gown from Mod Mum, it is gorgeous and I promise you it makes a huge difference in pictures and the way you feel.
  6. Nursing Bra and Pads: Don’t go crazy here, just one bra or tank if you are planning to breastfeed and no more than a couple pads. Your milk more than likely doesn’t come in until you leave the hospital. I’ve never used any at the hospital.
  7. Underwear: Trust me, the hospital undies are by far the most comfortables one you’ll find, so take only a couple pairs of “granny panties” to go home in. I actually know quite a few people that leave the hospital on their mesh hospital undies.
  8. Going Home outfit: Keep this one simple and comfortable. If you had a c-section make sure they are extra loose on the belly.
  9. Cellphone, Camera, Camcorder and Laptop: Make sure to pack the respective chargers and batteries and designate someone to snap the pictures. If you are anything like me, you’ll be blogging or checking online after the baby is born :)
  10. Pillow: I didn’t use one for my son’s delivery but loved having my own for my daughter and after the delivery my hubby loved it, since the one the hospital gave him was ridiculously thin.
  11. Sugar Free lollipops: This were a life saver with both of my deliveries, your mouth gets dry and you are not allowed to eat. This make you feel like you are eating something and keep your mind off the hunger and sometimes the pain too.

What to Pack for Baby

  1. Coming home outfit: Most babies are good with a size NB. Our son was 9.4 lb and still fit in a little NB outfit. Plan according to weather.
  2. Car seat: Make sure it is installed properly most hospital check it for you before you can take baby home. Some cities fire department will help you install it or check it is right for free.
  3. Blankets: Receiving blankets even if your baby is born in summer, babies need one more extra layer than adults do. Just pack one, for the day you are leaving. The hospital provides one but again is not the best looking one. If your baby is born in the winter made sure to pack a thick blanket as well. Like the one Minky Couture sent me, perfect for the November weather.
  4. Baby Book: Most hospitals will put your baby’s footprints directly onto your baby book if you ask.
  5. Nursing Pillow: This is super necessary even if you are not planning to breastfeed, it will save your back! I will be taking my new nursing pillow Balboa Baby sent me :)

What to pack for your support person

  1. Pillow and Blanket: If you don’t want to give them yours after labor. And again the hospital gets cold and they don’t give the support person much.
  2. Snacks: Nothing stinky or that you might crave. I actually asked my husband to only eat outside of the delivery room while I was in labor. Even if you are not like me if you have been in labor for a long time odds are you’ll be starving!
  3. Toiletries: Deodorant, shaving cream and razor, body wash, shampoo, and anything else they like to use.
  4. Change of clothes: One he can sleep with and another to go home.
  5. Book, Magazine, Entertainment: You might be in labor for a long time and if you choose to have pain management you might spend quite some time sleeping. So make sure they have something to keep them entertained.
  6. Watch: If they are in charge of timing your contractions.
  7. Push Present:  ;-)
  8. Cash: There’s tons of vending machines at hospitals, it’s always good to have plenty or cash in hand just in case you are in labor after the cafeteria closes. Also remember the hospital feeds you not your support person.

What NOT to Pack/Take

  1. Diapers/Wipes: Unless you have an issue with the ones provided by the hospital. Don’t take any. They provide as many as you need while your there.
  2. Baby clothes: Lots of different little outfits. They will dress your baby in a t-shirt or onesie, diaper and swaddle him/her up in a blanket while you are there no need for more.
  3.  Pads/Tampons: The hospital gives you tons of pads and they are super big and bulky but you’ll soon find out they are the perfect size. And you are not allowed to wear tampons for a while.
  4. Lots of Snacks for yourself: The hospital will feed you 3 times a day while you are there and they also have pudding cups, sandwiches and other snacks you can ask for when is not meal time.
  5. Nursing needs: The hospital will provide you with many samples, lotions, pads and anything necessary while you are there. It’s a good idea to call your hospital when you are packing your bag to see what they provide.
  6. Book, magazines: You’ll be either in active labor not interested in reading or sleeping. And after the baby is born you should be sleeping every chance you get!
  7. Laptop: Make sure your hospital offers free wifi or make sure you have your own. No need to take your laptop if you can’t use it.
  8. Stroller: Your baby will be going straight from the hospital to the car to the house. The bulky stroller is very unnecessary.
And I bet you are wondering where I packed all the goodies I will be taking to the hospital. Well……….. I’m glad you asked I was given an awesome Vera Bradley Duffel  Bag in Va Va Bloom, that fits everything with ease, not to mention all the awesome goodies I will be getting from the hospital, like extra diapers, paper work and little samples. It is not only gorgeous but also machine washable so if something gets on it is a breeze to clean!
Here are some of the awesome features:
  • 15″ strap drop
  • Handy outside end pocket
  • Larger size but still meets airline carry-on regulations
  • Great for sweaters and out of season clothes
  • Folds flat for easy storing
Hope you find this list useful and if you noticed I’m missing something or if you have any advise please leave me a comment!

Energy-X Gum & Lip Balm Review & Giveaway!

Most people I know are always complaining about energy. They are always tired or draggy at some point during the week. My husband is one of those people that loves those horrible energy drinks, and after getting on this case for all this years he switched to sugar free. Still just as horrible!  I’ve been looking for something to keep him energized and I finally found it. I was contacted by Energy-X and they sent me some Gum and Lip Balm to try. Since I am pregnant my husband was the my lab rat :) Keep in mind these are a much healthier alternative.

We received the gum in both flavors of the Energy-X gum which comes in Spearmint and Peppermint. I gave some to both  my mom and my husband and they agreed that it tasted great and they did notice a little boost! You can check out the Energy-X Gum HERE.

The Energy-X Lip Balm comes in a variety of flavors such as Fruit Punch, Lemon Lime, Tangerine, Berry  Blast and Grape Rush. These I did try myself, I am just a sucker for lip balms and I enjoyed the Fruit Punch. My lips were hydraded for hours which is a plus since I am pregnant and my lips are always super dry, they also have SPF 30 and give you a great boost, I honestly felt energized and “nesting” more than usual!

After we all tried the products we all agree that neither is too overpowering or tastes gross like most energy products do. Also no one the products make you feel jittery like the energy drinks do.

I was given the chance to share the awesomeness by hosting a giveaway! And not one or two but 5 lucky readers will get to choose either a lip balm or gum to try. So make sure to enter our giveaway! Also don’t forget to like Energy-X on Facebook and follow them on Twitter!

Lansinoh Nursing Products Review & Giveaway!!!

I keep telling you but just in case you didn’t know, I was a fully breastfeeding mama with both of my kids and plan to do the same with baby Gael. So, nursing products are very important to me, I really love nursing pillows, la

olin and frozen peas!!  :-P So when I was given the chance to review some awesome Lansinoh products I was thrilled!!!

For my review I was given several Lansinoh products including:

Lansinoh® HPA® Lanolin: This one was a life saver with my other two kids! It is extremely soothing and heals cracked nipples really fast. It is safe for the baby so you don’t have to wipe it before feeding which is great if your nipples are already sore.

>THERA°PEARL 3-in-1 Breast Therapy: I am so excited about this one! Like I said on the top, I used to use frozen peas to soothe sore breasts when the milk comes in and you might also get mastitis, this awesome pearl packs can be warmed or cooled to ease your pain and discomfort. I hope I don’t need them but it is wonderful to know I have them just in case. This could also be use to ease the pain when trying to stop nursing.

Lansinoh® LatchAssist® Nipple Everter: A little bit of TMI, I had flat nipples with my son, I didn’t even know until he was born and I was trying to nurse, needless to say it was very painful and nothing seem to help them come out. Then with my daughter they had gone back a little bit again and I needed the help of a nipple shield, which was wonderful at the beginning but after my daughter became dependent on it and wouldn’t latch without it. It was a very painful process again and it took a lot of effort. I am very excited to get the help from the Nipple everter without having to use a shield this time. It also comes with a little case to make sure it always stays clean.

Soothies® by Lansinoh® Gel Pads: These were also super helpful with my other two, when your nipples are sore, cracked or even bleeding this soothing gel pads are heaven sent! They provide an instant cooling relieve, and the best part is that you can clean them and use them more than once until you are all healed.

Lansinoh® mOmma® Rocking Feeding Bottle: This little bottle is so cute! I love mOmma and it’s ergonomic design, I can already imagine my little monster holding on to his bottle. It is BPA Free and comes in slow, medium or fast flows.

Disposable Nursing Pads: If you ever become a full on cow like it always happens to me  you’ll need some nursing pads you can trust. I love Lansinoh’s they are super absorbent and soft.

Lansinoh® Diaper Rash Ointment: This is a new one for me. I had never tried to so I decided to use it on my daughter. It worked really well, she has instant relieve once I put it on and by the next diaper change there was no trace of a rash.

Mama Mio Lucky Legs Review

This is my third pregnancy, so I already know I have big babies and I get HUGE! I am 5’1 (on a good day! lol) Our son was 9.4 lbs and our daughter was 8.9 lbs, so you can image the bellies. Not only I look like I’m carrying triplets but my legs and feet get really swollen and achy. Also worth mentioning this is my first summer pregnancy and it’s not just any summer it is Texas summer! So when I was offered Mama Mio’s Lucky Legs, I was so thrilled and ready for some relief!

As I was applying it, my feet and legs started to feel invigorated, minty and alive. It has a wonderful smell thanks to the special blend of essential oils, spearmint, chamomile and aloe vera. Oh and it is also shimmery! Which my husband joked about it the last time he rubbed my feet because he ended up with “fairy” hands. One pump was plenty for each leg. It dries really fast and don’t let the “minty” smell scared you, I thought I was going to smell like old lady but it is quite a pleasant scent.

I would recommend this product to any pregnant or new moms, it is really good and we should all have a refreshing product on hand for partners to rub your feet :) Mama Mio’s Lucky Legs retails for $19.50 and you can get it HERE. Also, don’t forget to like Mama Mio on Facebook and follow them on Twitter!

BuggyLove Review & Giveaway!!!

Buggy Love is an organic set that is designed to keep your baby’s stroller and wear clean and smelling fresh. All the items on the set are organic and natural, their mission is to “green wash” baby wear to limit the amount of toxics and yucky stuff your baby is exposed to. I was given the Buggy Love Stroller Cleaning Kit to review. The kit includes 4 products: FreshLOVE, PolishLOVE, FabricLOVE & WheelLOVE + Tampico Scrub Brush, Reclaimed Microfiber Cloth and Carry-All Bag. Here are a few more details about each product:

  • FRESHLOVE- 8 oz. of exotic and soothing, organic, rosehip scented solution for all-over freshening. Life is short, it should smell sweet everywhere you go. Neutralize unpleasant scents on strollers, car seats, changing tables, play areas, bathrooms or, well…anywhere.
  • PURELOVE- 8 oz. of crisp, organic, tangerine scented solution for daily, on-the-go cleaning of life’s messy situations. Safe to use on toys, strollers, high chairs…yet strong enough to clean your house from top to bottom.
  • FABRICLOVE- See ya’ milk and formula spots! 4 oz. and/or 1 oz. of highly concentrated, organic, clementine scented solution for safe and effective use on most fabrics. Easily remove stains that appear on strollers, carseats, high chairs, and even your favorite chair or shirt.
  • WHEELLOVE- 1.5 oz. of the first-ever, all natural, stroller wheel lube that eliminates squeaks and squeals.
They are smell great! Very citrus-y and fresh, I was able to clean my daughters umbrella stroller, which was filthy!!! It took quite a bit to get it cleaned but all the products did what they said they would. I cleaned it on the balcony since I wasn’t sure how strong the smell would get, but it never got too bad. It was always pleasant and light. All the stains came off and the stroller really looks like new! I also strayed my daughter’s car seat and my son’s booster with the FRESHLOVE and they were both fascinated with their great smelling seats!

Colief Colic Relieve Drops Review and Giveaway!

My 6 year old son never had any colic, so when our daughter was born I was nether prepared or experience on colic. We had quite a few restless nights and days, there was nothing that would help her. As a fully breastfeeding mom I had no idea what do to! Until we found out she had a lactose intolerance so every time I eat dairy and nursed she got sick. I immediately changed my diet and the improvement was instant, no more crying fussy baby and no more crazy gas!  :-P I wished for something to help me through those hard times before we found the cause of my daughters discomfort. I wish I knew about Colief.
It wasn’t easy! giving up the cheese, butter, ICE CREAM!!! I got used to reading labels and still until today now that my daughter is 28 months, I still have to check on everything to make sure she won’t get a reaction. Needless to say I am prepared for the worst with this baby and I am glad I now know about these amazing drops. The Colief drops are ALL natural and contain lactase enzyme that helps digest milk. It can be used both with breast milk and formula before a baby’s feed. Colief has been prescribed in the U.K. and Ireland for over 15 years, it is now available in the U.S. Here’s how to use them:

Breastfeeding with Colief:

  • Express a few tablespoons of breast milk into a sterilized container.
  • Add 4 drops of Colief® Infant Drops.
  • Give this to your infant on a sterilized spoon before initiating breastfeeding.
  • Breast feed as normal.

Using Colief with formula:

  • Prepare your infant’s formula as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Add 4 drops of Colief® Infant Drops to the warm (not hot) formula.
  • Wait 30 minutes, shaking the formula occasionally, then feed your infant as normal,
making sure that the formula is at the correct temperature.
  • Discard any unused formula.

You can find Colief on their websiteFacebook and twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own bottle make sure you enter the giveaway. Car seat Canopy Whole Caboodle Review & Giveaway!!!

Here’s another awesome product I would’ve loved with my other two kids but I didn’t even know existed!!! infant carseat covers, I was a little puzzled with the idea but now I’m in love with it!!! I was given the Car seat Canopy whole Caboodle in the Knott pattern. Here are some reasons why these covers are awesome:

  • Let’s say you are not a first time mom or someone is letting you borrow their car sear, well if you don’t like the pattern, you’re having a different gender this time or if it just looks old you can cover it, and you won’t have to buy a new one.
  • You get great protection from the weather. When it’s sunny your baby doesn’t have to have the sun on his eyes, or if it’s cold and windy. I used a blanket to cover both of my kids when they were little and it is just dangerous you don’t have a good grip on the car seat, not to mention is falls off and usually doesn’t fit right.
  • It comes in super soft Minky fabric and with all the matching parts.
  • You can buy more than one pattern and switch them around!

I received the whole caboodle to review and I liked all the pieces and they were all easy to put on the car seat. The Minky Slip Cover is super soft, The Minky Head Support Pillow is awesome, both of my kids used something similar to this when they were little so it’s great to have on that matches everything else perfectly! If you are not familiar with these they help your baby’s head stay supported and in a comfortable position. The Baby Lap Blanket also with Minky is soft and I know I will be using it a lot this winter. I love the size, I hate how you are always dragging the regular size ones on the floor. The Replacement Umbrella with Minky Lining is the finishing touch for a complete change, It is a good size but smaller than the one my Britax Chaperone came with. It also comes with a Car Seat Canopy with Minky Interior and 100% Cotton, again I love the soft minky and I am excited to use it since my baby will be born in Winter, but it might be a little hot for summer babies (at least here in Texas).

If you missed any of that the Whole Caboodle is a complete matching set of all five Carseat Canopy™ products! here’s what it comes with:

  • Minky Slip Cover
  • Minky Head Support Pillow
  • Baby Lap Blanket with Minky Underside
  • Replacement Umbrella with Minky Lining
  • Car Seat Canopy with Minky Interior and 100% Cotton Outer
I can’t wait for Gael to come to try everything out! I am sure everyone will love it and it is going to be super useful in this windy and cold weather.

You can find Carseat Canopy on their websiteFacebook and Pinterest. Also, for a chance to win your own Whole Caboodle make sure you enter the giveaway. If you can’t wait and want to buy one of these make sure to go HERE. The Carseat Canopy Whole Caboodle retails for $79.95 and comes in many patterns and colors. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

mOmma Products Review & Giveaway!!!

I had the opportunity to review Lansinoh’s new line of feeding products called mOmma. I was so excited because everything was gorgeous!!! For my review I received:

mOmma Soft Bib: This is by far the coolest bib I’ve ever seen! It is made of a waterproof material and comes with 2 removable cotton bibs for easy cleaning. The colors are gorgeous and it is super flexible and adorable!

mOmma Warm Plate: Hot water is poured into the plate through a special hole to keep food warm during mealtime. It has two compartments, it has a wide non-slip base.

mOmma Soft Spoon and Fork: There’s 2 things I love about these. First it has an ergonomic design so it is easy for little hands to hold and second it comes with a cover that not only makes it great for taking it places with you but it can also be used to extend the handle. It also has a “roly-poly” which maintains it in the upright position to avoid contact with surfaces.

mOmma Non-Spill Cup: Again the ergonomic design is wonderful for little hands, it also rocks like the spoon and fork and it has a non-spill system which only delivers the liquid when the baby is sucking on it. It comes with a lid which most cups don’t and like all other mOmma products is BPA Free.

mOmma Cup with Straw: All the wonderful feature on the non-spill cup but with the straw option. Usually cups with straws aren’t non-spill but this cup is.

All mOmma products are BPA Free, and comes in gorgeous colors. I can’t wait to try them all out with my baby!  You can find mOmma on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own mOmma diaper bag filled with an assortment of products make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Milk Bands Review & Giveaway!

If you are a nursing mom (take notes if you are planning to be) you’ll know what I mean when I say that I never remembered which side I nursed on until it was too late and one boob was bigger and more painful than the other one. It seems very silly to forget something like that but trust me it happens! When you are tired and sleep deprived it is so easy to forget the smallest and dumbest things (as well as the big important ones!) In comes a super clever item I just discovered myself and I am sure it will be a stable when my son is born! Milk Bands!!!

Milk Bands are a uniquely designed nursing bracelet that help you quickly and conveniently identify which breast you last used to feed your baby by simply turning the bracelet inside-out! They have time measuring sliders that can be used for multiple purposes such as tracking how long your baby fed or what time. They work regardless of which wrist they are worn on and are so easy to use it only takes one hand.

They are available in many colors, I received the yellow one for my review and I really like it! It is a nice color and I am sure I will be wearing it a lot! It actually already is on my hospital bag.  :-P I love that it comes with the little trackers so you know what time the feeding was or what time you have to feed again, and they also give you a few more just in case if  you loose any.

You can find Milk Bands on their website and Facebook. Also, for a chance to win your own Milk Band make sure you enter the giveaway. If you can wait to get your own, you can buy one HERE. Milk bands retail for $6.95. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

San Diego Bebe Nursing Pillow Review and Giveaway!!!

I’ve said this a few times already, there is certain things I MUST HAVE with my children and one of the most important to me is a nursing pillow. I just love them and can’t imagine being a fully breastfeeding mom without one. I actually know quite a few moms that don’t nurse their babies but love the convenience and bonding they get from feeding on a nursing pillow. Well, I found the mother of all nursing pillows and I am so thrilled to have the chance to try one out!
The San Diego Bebe nursing pillow was created by a mom of twins who had issues with all the nursing pillows on the market trying to feed her twins at the same time, so she created this awesome Eco-friendly nursing pillow. They are available in both a single and twin size. You might be wondering, what makes this it Eco-friendly? Well, it is made of 100% virgin polyfiber. Hypo-allergenic, non-toxic, non-flammable and recyclable. Odor-free, glue-free, foam-free, lead-free and Phthalate-free. And this is only the beginning with this wonderful product! This Nursing pillow also has many features and benefits that you just won’t find on most nursing pillows on the market right now.
Here is a list of everything you get:
Features and Benefits
1. Designed GREEN for your baby’s future
Made of 100% virgin polyfiber. Hypo-allergenic, non-toxic, non-flammable and recyclable. Odor-free, glue-free, foam-free, lead-free and Phthalate-free.

3. Signature Comfort Bolster

4. Superior Surface Design

8. Convenient Dual Pockets
Elasticized “Bottle Holsters” on one side of pillow, second pocket for remote or cell phone on the other side. Holds everything necessary within close reach.

I can’t tell you enough how impressed I am with this nursing pillow, the features are not only great but things I have actually wished for while nursing my kids in the past. Here are some of the reasons why I personally love this nursing pillow:

  • Having water withing reach has been essential to me while nursing and sometimes you forget or just don’t have anywhere to put it, the side pockets are great to hold anything you might need including that very important water! Not to mention your cellphone, there’s nothing worse than sitting for a feeding and having your phone ring once your baby has latched and you are both comfortable!
  • I love the back support which is such a big complain with nursing moms. I used to put pillows and need help to get comfortable every time, well not anymore!
  • I am a little embarrassed to admit I have fallen asleep while nursing and then wake up horrified to think I could have dropped my baby (I actually know someone who did drop their baby like that!) well it is obviously not recommended but it gives me some peace of mind to know I can strap the pillow to my waist and the perimeter bolster with help the baby stay in place.
  • And last I love everything machine washable!!! And nursing pillows gets so dirty it’s wonderful to know you can just toss it on the washer and forget about it! Who has time to hand wash when you are new mom!?!?!

I can’t wait for Gael to come, we are both going to be so spoiled with this nursing pillow! Make sure to stay tuned as I will be posting about my experiences with this nursing pillow once he comes :)
