Similac Simply Smart Bottles Review & Giveaway!!!

My two other kids were breastfed only, and I still pumped and bottle fed them but I have no experience with formula. So I ask my friend to help me review the new Similac Simply Smart Bottles. She was really excited!

This product is really awesome design. The shaped nipple makes it easier to switch from breastfeeding to bottle feeding. The easy mix is a great idea when you are formula feeding plus the on the go powder cap is perfect for a busy moms.

They also feature an open design which allows for easy cleaning, even with the mixer piece. It was easy to remove for cleaning.

The only thing I can complaint about is that it doesn’t help much with the colic and bubbles, the mixer attachments only makes more bubbles. If you have a baby without colic issues than this bottle is perfect for you!

You can find Similac on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own 8 oz bottle, 4 oz bottle, dispenser cap and some coupons (3 winners will be chosen)  make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Monkey Mat Review & Giveaway!!!

I was so excited to share with all of you my experience with Monkey Mat! I had the chance to review it and it was a hit in our household! The Monkey Mat is an awesome, portable mat with weights in each corner and little loops in the center for toys. Oh! and it is a local company! 🙂

It comes with a zippered pouch connected to the mat, so it folds easily and compactly into the pouch and into your diaper bag or purse. Our will probably stay in the car for a while until our son comes. Then we will probably use it as a floor mat with toys for him, awesome idea for tummy time!

We are always on the go and tend to have unexpected picnics and outdoorsy getaways once in a while, we always need a mat or blanket since both my daughter and I have very sensitive skin and we break out if we sit directly on the grass. So this mat is perfect for that! No more bumpy bumps or itchy skin!

Each corner has weights to keep the mat down if it’s windy,  the fabric is super light and without the weights it would probably just fly away. It also has some loops which can be use with rods or sticks for more security. It is also pretty big measuring at 5′ x 5′ it offers plenty of space and it is waterproof.

It is also Machine Washable so you can just toss it in the wash after your picnic and it’ll be back to normal in no time for your next adventure. Monkey Mats come in 4 different colors: green, blue, pink and orange and they retail for $39.99. To get your own Monkey Mat make sure to go HERE.

You can find Monkey Mats on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Monkey Mat make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Lua Cover Review & Giveaway!!!

Baby Gael will be born in November when it starts getting cold so I am very thankful I will have some covers for his carseat. I was really excited to give the Lua a try. We received the Lua in a brown with dots pattern, which I don’t see on their website. But it’s nice!

The Lua Cover is very easy to use, just throw it over the car seat and you have instant protection from the sun, rain, wind, snow, and all those people with dirty hands that think it’s ok to touch your baby. The Lua is so much better than the blankets people usually use to cover their babies, they don’t fall, drag and the Lua has a whole at the top to make sure you have a good grip on the car seat.

The hole on the top also allows you to look in and check on the baby. This one also has many purposes and when it’s time to nurse your baby,  you can just slip it over your head and use it as a nursing cover. They come in many different patterns for you to choose from and the fabric is light and breathable. It is also machine washable which is the best feature a baby product can have in my opinion. Not to mention it can be used as a shopping cart & highchair cover!!

Here are some more reasons to love The Lua:

  • Made in the USA with designer fabrics!
  • One of a kind design allowing you to carry your baby safely & securely
  • Convenient throw and go design for the mom on the run
  • Unique elastic opening allows you to “peek” in on your baby
  • Ultimate privacy~ keeps on-lookers at a distance
  • The Lua has many uses; car seat, nursing, shopping cart & highchair cover!
  • Makes the perfect baby shower gift!

You can find Lua Cover on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Lua Cover in your choice of pattern make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Juppy Baby Walker Review & Giveaway!!!

When my husband saw this next item he told me he should have invented it. He used to use towels and blankets to do this with our other two kids. I told him someone beat him to it, and I am glad they did because I think it is a wonderful idea! We had the opportunity to review the Juppy Baby Walker, we received on in baby blue with out son’s name “Gael” Obviously Gael is still growing in my tummy so I did the review with my husbands niece.

What is The Juppy Baby Walker?
The Juppy is ergonomically designed to teach your child to walk while eliminating your need to bend over. It is an all natural and safe way to teach your child to walk. The Juppy requires no assembly, it is made of 100% cotton and it will fit in your purse!

My niece loved it, she walked everywhere with it and really enjoyed it. Not to mention her mom who didn’t have to hunch down to hold her hands. The Juppy gave her the security she needed and she wasn’t afraid of falling like she usually is when she’s trying to walk on her own. I really liked it and can’t wait to try it on baby Gael. The Juppy retails for $29.95 and comes in baby blue, pink and black. You can also personalize it with your child’s name for only $6.95 more.

You can find Juppy Baby on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your very own Juppy Baby Walker in your choice of color make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Happy Baby Food Review & Giveaway!!!

I have the opportunity to review (well my kids did) some Happy Baby food Happy times products. We received 5 coupons to try all 5 varieties of Happy times:

  1. Mixed Fruit Yogis: This is perfect for our son lunch box and snacks for smaller children. I didn’t give any to my daughter since she is lactose intolerant but our son was thrilled and a couple of my nieces and nephews tried them and loved them too. The little packages make kids think they are having a treat when in reality they are having yogurt.
  2. Sunny Buddies: My son doesn’t like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches but he loves this cookies! He takes them to school all the time. My daughter also loves them and is always munching on them.
  3. Veggie Pals: These were not a hit in our household, neither my son or daughter would eat them. I really don’t know why as I found them to be tasty. I guess that’s what happens when you have little picky eaters. they come in little packages and the actual chew is really little.
  4. Yummy Yogis: My son loved these! I think they were by far the ones that were gone the fastest! Even I liked them, they are very yummy and not super sweet.
  5. Crazy Crunchies: Again my kids didn’t like these. I think it is something about the texture of the snacks. These are dried carrot and apple bits, I was excited about them since they are dairy free so my daughter could have them but no luck!

Here are some more reasons why Happy Times are awesome for your kids:

  • Great for Preschool & Kids Lunchboxes
  • Pre and Probiotics for Digestive Health
  • Gluten Free
  • Organic goodness: All Happy Family Products are USDA certified Organic.
  • 100% Natural: No pesticides, no chemical fertilizers, no genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
  • No Artificial Flavoring or Coloring
  • BPA Free Packaging

Also something important to point out is that for every package of Happy Baby you purchase, you’re supporting the Project Peanut Butter to feed malnourished children in Malawi and Sierra Leone.

You can find Happy Baby Food on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Happy Baby Food Pack make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Dria Cover Review & Giveaway!!!

I keep finding lots of awesome new products, this next one is quite ingenious! It’s called Dria Cover and it’s a cover up that is 4 in 1. What do I mean with 4 in 1? Well, the DRIA Cover is the perfect Nursing cover, Stroller Cover, Car Seat Cover and Fashion Maternity Poncho! All in one! It’s made from one of the softest, lightest, and most comfortable fabrics around, Modal. This fabric is light, breathable, and is highly wrinkle and shrink resistant.

From their website:

“The DRIA Cover is a beautiful nursing cover for pregnant moms, that doubles as a versatile baby cover. We are sure that it will be the newest staple in your wardrobe this season! It looks, feels and hangs more stylishly and elegantly than any other cover. Any mom looks simply beautiful and hip. The DRIA even makes a great top paired with jeans to create a chic look while discretely nursing.”

They come in 3 styles: Oslo (which is the one I got), Newport and Dublin all made with the awesome Modal material. They all come in only one size but is is big enough to fit most. Here are some reasons why the Dria is superior to others:

  • One, it just IS a superior product. The cover is truly a multi-functional product, and in that sense, we feel it is well worth the price. Maternity poncho, nursing cover, stroller cover, car seat cover, baby blanket, burping towel, etc, not to mention it is stylish enough to wear long after you are finished nursing. In addition, the materials and Modal fabric are extremely high end and many of them are limited designer patterns.
  • Two, we chose to produce the DRIA Cover locally with other small business companies. It was important to us that we support our local community and economy, even if it meant our costs would be slightly higher.
  • Three, the DRIA Cover is designed, cut and sewn all by hand. Each one is unique in its own way.
  • Four, the DRIA Cover is produced in thoughtful and limited quantities making many of our Covers a limited edition and these designer fabrics will no longer be manufactured. BONUS Reason: It looks, feels and hangs more stylishly and elegantly than any other cover. You simply look beautiful and hip at a time when many women feel uncomfortably not.

You can find Dria cover on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Dria Cover make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

[bump] Maternity Review & Giveaway!!!

I had my first in 2006 and I most say maternity wear has improved a lot in these 6 years. Everything is more fitted and more flattering then it used to be. And [bump] maternity is no exception. They make some adorable tops with very cute messages right on the belly. I got the [bump]tastic Maroc top in brown and it says “baby under manufacturing process” very cute!

I noticed it does comes a little smaller than the other tops I have, the picture on the website makes them look like the have a very open neckline but mine fit just right. It is really comfortable and I love the ruffled sleeves.

[bump] offers many other items including: fashionable tops, tees, tanks, vees, pants, dresses and they even have a whole line for daddy with really cute lines like: “sympathy bump” and “without me there would be no bump”.

You can find [bump] babies on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own [bump] maroc top make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Bellybar Review & Giveaway!!!

I tend to be a horrible eater, I love sweets and I am always missing breakfast. This pregnancy was extra difficult because I got such horrible morning/afternoon/night sickness  😕 So it was even worse, I rarely want to eat and when I actually crave something is usually not good. I found myself with pretty bad anemia and after a ton of different prenatal vitamins I just couldn’t keep any down. So when I got the chance to review Bellybar’s Nutrition bars and prenatal vitamins I was really excited and hopeful they will help me.

I received one bar in each flavor: Lemony Lovey, Baby Needs Chocolate, Berry Nutty Cravings and S’more to Love. I also received their DHA chews, prenatal chewable vitamins and their prenatal + DHA Chocolate vitamins. Let me start by saying that I am super picky with the protein and energy bars out there and I usually hate them. Bellybars were the exception is like they know pregnant women are extra picky and they truly taste awesome!  My favorite were Lemony Lovey and Baby Needs Chocolate. They don’t have a funky after taste and I loved the size, I was very satisfied after I had just one.

The Prenatal chewable vitamins and DHA chews have a very interesting flavor almost like Flintstones vitamins, both are very orangy and the prenatal almost felt effervescent. The DHA was a little more pleasant, almost like a piece of chewable candy. I most confess they were not my favorite but much better than the ones my Dr. prescribed.

The Prenatal + DHA Chocolate vitamins were delicious!!! And I am not exaggerating. The chocolate flavor was really good, and the DHA ones also have a little raspberry flavor that just make them delightful! I almost want to have the entire bottle! I am so glad I found some good tasting vitamins and bars that make me feel like my baby is not being deprived of any nutrients and vitamins.

You can find BellyBar on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Bellybar Prenatal + DHA Chocolate Vitamins make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Rockin’ Baby Pouch Review & Giveaway!!!

Since I started showing, every single time I go ANYWHERE with my kids and my big belly people stop me to tell me how hard it is to go from two to three kids. I swear it is a conspiracy man!!! LOL So it got me thinking that I really need some tools and gadgets to help me until I get used to it. And as I was researching options I got the chance to review a pouch from Rockin’ Baby, and I was super excited!

Rockin’ Baby not only makes gorgeous baby pouches and slings but they also believe in giving back and helping moms in need. With their Mother to Mother mission they donate a brand new baby sling to moms in Haiti, each sling is bright orange with red rings so that next time you watch something on the news or see a picture on a newspaper or magazine you recognize it and know your purchase help a mother in need. Here’s a video where you can see a little more about their mission. I don’t know if it is the hormones, but I was in tears at the end.

I received a Rockin’ Baby Pouch in the “I’ll stop the world and melt with you” pattern, which is no longer available but they have other gorgeous ones too. I am new to the whole sling and pouch deal so I needed to make sure I checked everything. I got the S/M size and it comes with adjustable zippers to assure the best fit and a little flap with Velcro to cover the zippers. It also comes with some padding at the bottom for what I think is comfort when the baby is bigger and his/her legs are hanging out.

Comparing it with the other pouch I got I seems to be bigger and more comfortable. I also love the pattern of the fabric and the material. But obviously the real test will be when baby Gael is here. Rockin’ Baby Slings and Pouches retail for $79.99 and can be purchased from either their site HERE or Amazon.

You can find Rockin’ Baby on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Rockin’ Baby HERO Sling make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Minky Couture Review & Giveaway!!!

As most of you know I am pregnant with our third child, and he’ll be born in November so it’s going to be kinda cold. My kids are always bundled up the first couple months of their life and baby Gael will be no exception since he’s coming at the beginning of winter. So I was beyond thrilled when I got a chance to review a Minky Couture Blanket!

I heard about Minky Couture before but had never touched or seen a blanket in person, so I was beyond words when I received it. It is softer than any other blanket I had ever touched. It is also bigger than the other blankets we have waiting for baby Gael. The sewing is very well done and the minky and satin ruffle combination are truly gorgeous. We received the Tyler: Green and Brown Dots with Brown Swirl and Brown Ruffle and I can’t wait for our son to come to bundle him up with it!

Minky Couture Blankets can be purchased from their website here and start at $65 and worth every penny! They also offer decorative blankets for your home, adult and tween sizes.

You can find Minky Couture on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Minky Couture Baby Blanket make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Fashion Forward Maternity Review & Giveaway!!!

I had a really hard time choosing the items I wanted, I knew I needed something cute for my baby shower but I also wanted something cute and not too dressy to wear on the weekends. I also wanted to make sure it was comfortable, and something I could use more than once without looking like a picture! I chose 2 Olian dresses, the Chloe dress and the Cap sleeve dress in the orchid color. I also got the Lola Floral Blouse by Olian.

Both dresses are gorgeous and fit perfectly. The Cap sleeve dress is a little too long for me but I am very short so it happens often and I’m used to it. The Lola Floral Blouse is very see through and you really have to wear it with a cami underneath. Overall I loved all the clothing and I am very impressed by the quality and how well maintain the clothing is.

Shipping was super fast and I had all items by Friday the same week, I was very pleased. They come wrapped in tissue and you wouldn’t be able to tell they are rentals, everything loved brand new.  The shipping is also Free both ways, so unless you need to exchange something there’s no extra charge.

They have a great selection of maternity clothes and almost everything is the same price $23.50, which is pretty affordable considering most maternity dresses are no less than $100! They also have great customer service and they send everything to get professionally cleaned so unless you stained something you should treat it just like your regular clothes.

You can find Fashion Forward on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win a free rental from Fashion Forward Maternity make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Ella’s Kitchen Review & Giveaway!!!

You would be amazed by the amount of ingredients and crazy stuff they put on baby food now. If you take some time to read the list of ingredients it’s truly scary what some companies are trying to feed our children! I have the opportunity to review some Ella’s Kitchen Baby food and enough though my daughter is not a baby anymore I regularly feed her baby food when we are out or when she’s being a difficult eater. So I was very excited to try something different.

Ella’s Kitchen makes organic baby food and toddler snacks that you don’t have to worry about. They have 8 ranges at the moment: First Tastes, Ella’s 1 Baby Food, Fruit + Baby RiceBaby Brekkie, Ella’s 2 Baby FoodSmoothie Fruits, Nibbly Fingers, and Yum Yummy Baby Cookies. They’re always thinking of yummy new ranges to add to their family of yummy 100% organic foods!

Each little pouch is super portable which is great for a toddler and they are all BPA, egg, wheat and gluten Free. After opening you can store the rest of the pouch in the fridge since they were good for up to 48 hours, but my daughter didn’t have any left overs 🙂 Her favorite flavors were: pears, bananas and bananas, apricots and baby rice.

They also have a 12 month shelf life so I save some to feed baby Gael when he’s ready to eat, and I will definitely buy him some more when he is ready. Make sure to stay tuned for that!

You can find Ella’s Kitchen on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own 10 pouches of Ella’s Kitchen baby food make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Daddy Scrubs Review & Giveaway!!!

My husband has been in the room when my two other kids were born, so obviously he’ll be there this time. He is super supportive and nice, but he is on allowed to leave the side of my head while I am pushing (I just don’t want him to see anything that might scar him for life! lol) So when I got the chance to review Daddy Scrubs I was so excited to give him something to make this day extra special for him.

I believe daddy needs to be comfortable during labor too, I’ve have really long labors so I always pack stuff to make sure he is entertained and comfy. He chose the blue Daddy Scrubs with the Edgy font. When it arrived I was impressed with the quality and how comfortable and nice they look. One of my favorite things is that they are perfectly fine to sleep in so if my labor happens to be late he can get a little sleep while wearing these.

I can’t wait for my hubby to wear them when this little guy is ready to come out! Make sure to stay tuned for lots of pictures!!! 🙂 Daddy Scrubs retail for $54.95 and come in different colors and different fonts to choose from. They also offer tees, hoodies, hats, and other gifts.

You can find Daddy Scrubs on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Daddy Scrubs in your choice of color and font make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

I know these little pouches pack a punch of vitamins and nutrients and when we are out and she’s being a picky eater I know she’s still getting something good and healthy to eat.

All products are organic, no salt, sugar, fillers, preservatives, nuts, dairy, except in Old Fashioned Apple Crisp. Which is great because my daughter is lactose intolerant.

Pregnancy Tip: What to pack for the hospital

I’ve seen many many lists and hear many many opinions. Let me start by saying that no two moms are the same and what works for me might not work for you. The intention of this lists and all pregnancy and mommy tips is to give you some help and ideas on what might be needed.

This is my third pregnancy and when I packed my first hospital bag for my son’s delivery, it had everything but the kitchen sink!  😛 This is a very common mistake many first time moms make. After you read 300 different lists you end up packing lots of extra unnecessary things. So I am going to share 4 lists with you today: What to pack mommy, what to pack for baby, what to pack for your support person and what NOT to pack.

What to pack for You

  1. Insurance Information, hospital forms, ID: If you are anything like me you are already registered, the hospital already knows you and everyone has your information. But you should take it anyways. Most of us don’t know our insurance numbers by memory and there’s so many other things they might ask. I made sure I double checked this on my new Carry it all wristlet Vera Bradley sent me. I also keep all important papers in a plastic folder.
  2. Toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, facial wipes (I find this to be so much easier than facial soap, and they are amazing right after delivery when you can’t take a shower but feel sweaty and nasty) toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, lip balm, hair ties and head bands, glasses, contact case and solution.
  3. Nonslip socks or slippers: Your feet will be cold and the hospital floor is too, this are great for getting up to go to the bathroom. If you prefer you can also take flip flops.
  4. Pajamas, Nightgown or Robe: If you are allowed to walk around during labor a robe is super handy if you are birthing in the hospital gowns which are not very discreet. Many people say to take old pajamas you don’t mind staining, I’ve delivered twice and I’ve never gotten my pajamas dirty. Plus new nice pjs make you feel better 🙂 If you are planning to breastfeed make sure the one you choose opens on the front. I am packing my new Japanese Weekend Set, which is nursing friendly and sooo comfy!
  5. Hospital Gown: This is a very personal choice, I HATE hospital gowns and both of my labors were long and the gowns they put you on at the hospital are not only completely open on the back so the world can see your behind but are also faded and ugly. I was lucky enough to get a fabulous hospital gown from Mod Mum, it is gorgeous and I promise you it makes a huge difference in pictures and the way you feel.
  6. Nursing Bra and Pads: Don’t go crazy here, just one bra or tank if you are planning to breastfeed and no more than a couple pads. Your milk more than likely doesn’t come in until you leave the hospital. I’ve never used any at the hospital.
  7. Underwear: Trust me, the hospital undies are by far the most comfortables one you’ll find, so take only a couple pairs of “granny panties” to go home in. I actually know quite a few people that leave the hospital on their mesh hospital undies.
  8. Going Home outfit: Keep this one simple and comfortable. If you had a c-section make sure they are extra loose on the belly.
  9. Cellphone, Camera, Camcorder and Laptop: Make sure to pack the respective chargers and batteries and designate someone to snap the pictures. If you are anything like me, you’ll be blogging or checking online after the baby is born 🙂
  10. Pillow: I didn’t use one for my son’s delivery but loved having my own for my daughter and after the delivery my hubby loved it, since the one the hospital gave him was ridiculously thin.
  11. Sugar Free lollipops: This were a life saver with both of my deliveries, your mouth gets dry and you are not allowed to eat. This make you feel like you are eating something and keep your mind off the hunger and sometimes the pain too.

What to Pack for Baby

  1. Coming home outfit: Most babies are good with a size NB. Our son was 9.4 lb and still fit in a little NB outfit. Plan according to weather.
  2. Car seat: Make sure it is installed properly most hospital check it for you before you can take baby home. Some cities fire department will help you install it or check it is right for free.
  3. Blankets: Receiving blankets even if your baby is born in summer, babies need one more extra layer than adults do. Just pack one, for the day you are leaving. The hospital provides one but again is not the best looking one. If your baby is born in the winter made sure to pack a thick blanket as well. Like the one Minky Couture sent me, perfect for the November weather.
  4. Baby Book: Most hospitals will put your baby’s footprints directly onto your baby book if you ask.
  5. Nursing Pillow: This is super necessary even if you are not planning to breastfeed, it will save your back! I will be taking my new nursing pillow Balboa Baby sent me 🙂

What to pack for your support person

  1. Pillow and Blanket: If you don’t want to give them yours after labor. And again the hospital gets cold and they don’t give the support person much.
  2. Snacks: Nothing stinky or that you might crave. I actually asked my husband to only eat outside of the delivery room while I was in labor. Even if you are not like me if you have been in labor for a long time odds are you’ll be starving!
  3. Toiletries: Deodorant, shaving cream and razor, body wash, shampoo, and anything else they like to use.
  4. Change of clothes: One he can sleep with and another to go home.
  5. Book, Magazine, Entertainment: You might be in labor for a long time and if you choose to have pain management you might spend quite some time sleeping. So make sure they have something to keep them entertained.
  6. Watch: If they are in charge of timing your contractions.
  7. Push Present:  😉
  8. Cash: There’s tons of vending machines at hospitals, it’s always good to have plenty or cash in hand just in case you are in labor after the cafeteria closes. Also remember the hospital feeds you not your support person.

What NOT to Pack/Take

  1. Diapers/Wipes: Unless you have an issue with the ones provided by the hospital. Don’t take any. They provide as many as you need while your there.
  2. Baby clothes: Lots of different little outfits. They will dress your baby in a t-shirt or onesie, diaper and swaddle him/her up in a blanket while you are there no need for more.
  3.  Pads/Tampons: The hospital gives you tons of pads and they are super big and bulky but you’ll soon find out they are the perfect size. And you are not allowed to wear tampons for a while.
  4. Lots of Snacks for yourself: The hospital will feed you 3 times a day while you are there and they also have pudding cups, sandwiches and other snacks you can ask for when is not meal time.
  5. Nursing needs: The hospital will provide you with many samples, lotions, pads and anything necessary while you are there. It’s a good idea to call your hospital when you are packing your bag to see what they provide.
  6. Book, magazines: You’ll be either in active labor not interested in reading or sleeping. And after the baby is born you should be sleeping every chance you get!
  7. Laptop: Make sure your hospital offers free wifi or make sure you have your own. No need to take your laptop if you can’t use it.
  8. Stroller: Your baby will be going straight from the hospital to the car to the house. The bulky stroller is very unnecessary.
And I bet you are wondering where I packed all the goodies I will be taking to the hospital. Well……….. I’m glad you asked I was given an awesome Vera Bradley Duffel  Bag in Va Va Bloom, that fits everything with ease, not to mention all the awesome goodies I will be getting from the hospital, like extra diapers, paper work and little samples. It is not only gorgeous but also machine washable so if something gets on it is a breeze to clean!
Here are some of the awesome features:
  • 15″ strap drop
  • Handy outside end pocket
  • Larger size but still meets airline carry-on regulations
  • Great for sweaters and out of season clothes
  • Folds flat for easy storing
Hope you find this list useful and if you noticed I’m missing something or if you have any advise please leave me a comment!

Lansinoh Nursing Products Review & Giveaway!!!

I keep telling you but just in case you didn’t know, I was a fully breastfeeding mama with both of my kids and plan to do the same with baby Gael. So, nursing products are very important to me, I really love nursing pillows, la

olin and frozen peas!!  😛 So when I was given the chance to review some awesome Lansinoh products I was thrilled!!!

For my review I was given several Lansinoh products including:

Lansinoh® HPA® Lanolin: This one was a life saver with my other two kids! It is extremely soothing and heals cracked nipples really fast. It is safe for the baby so you don’t have to wipe it before feeding which is great if your nipples are already sore.

THERA°PEARL 3-in-1 Breast Therapy: I am so excited about this one! Like I said on the top, I used to use frozen peas to soothe sore breasts when the milk comes in and you might also get mastitis, this awesome pearl packs can be warmed or cooled to ease your pain and discomfort. I hope I don’t need them but it is wonderful to know I have them just in case. This could also be use to ease the pain when trying to stop nursing.

Lansinoh® LatchAssist® Nipple Everter: A little bit of TMI, I had flat nipples with my son, I didn’t even know until he was born and I was trying to nurse, needless to say it was very painful and nothing seem to help them come out. Then with my daughter they had gone back a little bit again and I needed the help of a nipple shield, which was wonderful at the beginning but after my daughter became dependent on it and wouldn’t latch without it. It was a very painful process again and it took a lot of effort. I am very excited to get the help from the Nipple everter without having to use a shield this time. It also comes with a little case to make sure it always stays clean.

Soothies® by Lansinoh® Gel Pads: These were also super helpful with my other two, when your nipples are sore, cracked or even bleeding this soothing gel pads are heaven sent! They provide an instant cooling relieve, and the best part is that you can clean them and use them more than once until you are all healed.

Lansinoh® mOmma® Rocking Feeding Bottle: This little bottle is so cute! I love mOmma and it’s ergonomic design, I can already imagine my little monster holding on to his bottle. It is BPA Free and comes in slow, medium or fast flows.

Disposable Nursing Pads: If you ever become a full on cow like it always happens to me  😆 you’ll need some nursing pads you can trust. I love Lansinoh’s they are super absorbent and soft.

Lansinoh® Diaper Rash Ointment: This is a new one for me. I had never tried to so I decided to use it on my daughter. It worked really well, she has instant relieve once I put it on and by the next diaper change there was no trace of a rash.

I love the Lansinoh brand and I’ve been using it since I had my son 6 years ago, many brands and products come and go and I most say Lansinoh has never disappointed me and continues to deliver wonderful results.

You can find Lansinoh on their websiteFacebook and Twitter. Also, for a chance to win your own Lanshinoh diaper bag filled with an assortment of products make sure you enter the giveaway. Good Luck and thanks for reading!

Mama Mio Lucky Legs Review

This is my third pregnancy, so I already know I have big babies and I get HUGE! I am 5’1 (on a good day! lol) Our son was 9.4 lbs and our daughter was 8.9 lbs, so you can image the bellies. Not only I look like I’m carrying triplets but my legs and feet get really swollen and achy. Also worth mentioning this is my first summer pregnancy and it’s not just any summer it is Texas summer! So when I was offered Mama Mio’s Lucky Legs, I was so thrilled and ready for some relief!

As I was applying it, my feet and legs started to feel invigorated, minty and alive. It has a wonderful smell thanks to the special blend of essential oils, spearmint, chamomile and aloe vera. Oh and it is also shimmery! Which my husband joked about it the last time he rubbed my feet because he ended up with “fairy” hands. One pump was plenty for each leg. It dries really fast and don’t let the “minty” smell scared you, I thought I was going to smell like old lady but it is quite a pleasant scent.

I would recommend this product to any pregnant or new moms, it is really good and we should all have a refreshing product on hand for partners to rub your feet 🙂 Mama Mio’s Lucky Legs retails for $19.50 and you can get it HERE. Also, don’t forget to like Mama Mio on Facebook and follow them on Twitter!
